Temba Bavuma’s Warning To Pakistan: South Africa has shown excellent form so far in the Cricket World Cup 2023 being played in India. Before this match, South African captain Temba Bavuma threatened Pakistan and said that if given a chance, his team would score 350.
Before the match on Thursday, South African captain Temba Bavuma spoke to the media. The African captain first told that he would like to bat first after winning the toss on the Chennai pitch. He said, “I watched Afghanistan’s match against Pakistan and felt that batting under lights would be better. So I think it is beneficial from batting point of view.”
He further said, “Obviously we should keep in mind that we have achieved a lot of success by batting first. So fortunately, I don’t have to make this decision right now. The captain of South Africa, who has been scoring big in the tournament till now, gave a warning to Pakistan bowlers and said, “If we get a chance to score 350 runs, we will do it. If not, we will make sure to play well with whatever is in front of us.”
